Inside Homeland Security: A Quarterly Journal By Robert O’Block

“Inside Homeland Security” began as a newsletter in December 2003, and it is now a magazine publication that prints 10,000 copies quarterly. As the official publication of the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, “Inside Homeland Security” offers articles and interviews on the subject of domestic defense.

Readers of the magazine have a median 15 years of experience in homeland security. They include professionals and leaders in government office, law enforcement, military, intelligence, counterterrorism, and first response.

A recent issue included a feature on smuggling tunnels and the security threat they pose, a detailed analysis of the legal debate surrounding airport imaging scanners, and a comprehensive analysis of medical requirements for responding to national disasters.

About the Author: Robert O’Block is the founder of both “Inside Homeland Security” and its parent organization, the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, which provides continuing education resources for professionals in the homeland security field. Mr. O’Block has had a long and extensive career in law enforcement. He is the author of three books on the subject of criminology and is a frequent lecturer in the field of forensics.
